The Glass

The glass has been part of our productive culture for 5,000 years: its first use dates back to 3,000 BC in Phoenicia.

Transparent and insulating, it is a ductile material, chemically unalterable, non-polluting and recyclable. Its physical and natural qualities are incredible: the molecular structure is more similar to the liquid structure than to the crystalline solids.

Thanks to its transparency that lets in light and extreme brilliance that makes the fine and shiny spaces, the glass is widely used in everyday life: its fragility is obviated avoided with particular treatments, which aim to increase its robustness.
